So with Brainjacked 2d20 published we can now focus more on developing Tales of the Sages. Since we are using the Creative Commons Ars magica system it we do not need to work developing the core dice mechanic but rather on making it fit our setting.

In terms of development we have started with the skill system, many of the core Ars Magic skills are good fits for our time period, others needed creating from whole cloth or to be themed towards the difference in time and place. This was a comparatively straightforward step, but one necessary for underpinning a lot of future steps in design. We now have a full set of basic abilities. that serve as a working document. - We fully expect the list to change and in the case of supernatural abilities; grow as we get further into the design process. It also gave a bloc of text for our graphic designer to play around with and work on layout. Below is a practice mock up, you may note there are some mistakes in this; rest assured this is just a layout practice, not a proofed complete piece.
